Wednesday Write-Up: WordPress Family Award

A few weeks ago I was honored to be nominated for another award! It is called the WordPress Family Award. Fanni at The Blackberry Boys was kind enough to nominate me. Make sure to check out her blog, she is raising two adorable boys in Hungary and blogs about being a parent, some creative things to do with kids, and also about Hungarian customs.

So here is the reason and the rules of  the WordPress Family Award directly copied from the post written by the gentleman that started the award, Shaun Gibson at Praying for One Day:

“This is an award for everyone who is part of the “Word Press Family” I start this award on the basis that the WordPress family has taken me in, and showed me love and a caring side only WordPress can. The way people take a second to be nice, to answer a question and not make things a competition amazes me here. I know I have been given many awards, but I wanted to leave my own legacy on here by creating my own award, as many have done before. This represents “Family” we never meet, but are there for us as family. ”

1. Display the award logo on your blog.

2. Link back to the person who nominated you.

3. Nominate 10 others you see as having an impact on your wordpress experience and family

4. Let your 10 Family members know you have awarded them

5. That is it. Just please pick 10 people that have taken you as a friend, and spread the love

So on that note, a huge thank you again to Fanni at The Blackberry Boys, and here are my nominees:

1. Journeys of the Fabulist

2. The Homeschooling Doctor

3. Mummy Flying Solo

4. Fascinations of a Vanilla Housewife

5. Free But Fun

6. Italy Take Two

7. Kids “R” Simple

8. Kukolina

9. Expat Baby Adventures

10. All of Me

Thank you to all my nominees for making my blogging journey a fun one!

    • Thank you, and you totally deserve it! You give me a taste of Italy every time I read your posts.
I was surprised when I found the actual creator of this award, when I got the liebster award it was impossible to figure out the actual details of it, everyone did something different.

  1. Thank you for the nomination. That is a neat reason that this one got started up! Because the other bloggers are kind of who keep you motivated, for sure, with their kindness and comments. Can’t wait to read your next post once you arrive at your destination. I don’t think I’ve mentioned it either, but I like your gravatar! It’s somewhat new, isn’t it? (Maybe not, my brain is kind of malfunctioning.)

    • That is a new gravitar! Thanks for noticing. I honestly just figured out how to change it after over a year of blogging. Haha.
I am excited about my next post too, I think it’s gonna be a good one:) but who knows, my muse may leave me before Friday.

    • I know that you don’t partake in the awards usually, but you are the first blogger to find me and start a friendship! You are my gateway blogger. Haha. Thank you for all your support and kindness and, of course, your lovely blog posts!

      • It’s not so much that I actively decline partaking, it’s more that I’m never quite sure what to do with them. When to slot a response in to the other stuff I was planning to write. Who to nominate, who hasn’t already been nominated and who won’t mind being nominated. I have a policy of responding “somehow, eventually” that never seems to get much follow-through…

Not sure how I feel about being a gateway blogger. I’m happy with it as long as you’re happy with it! If your husband starts complaining of your blog addiction I might arrange to be elsewhere. 🙂
